I bought the Viewsonic VP930b 19" LCD monitor on May 27th, 2006. It seems to be a very good monitor according to Tom's Hardware, but after about five minutes of use, I stopped begin able to access the main menu. The button labeled "[1]" began displaying a progress bar with the title "Locking Power Button" instead of the main menu.
This prevented me from adjusting the image, which was too bright and too wide. The store could not help me, since they had never seen such a problem. Viewsonic failed to answer any of my two messages.
This is unfortunate, but just because of that small problem, I had to bring back the monitor to the store and exchange it for another model. Viewsonic seems to have left bugs in the code behind the buttons, and they do not seem to care about responding to user requests.
Well, it's their loss: I exchanged their monitor for a Samsung SyncMaster 920N. Not only is it less expensive, but its main menu works very well.
